I'm really excited to share with you all my latest crochet projects and updates on my newly planted garden! (Those will be sprinkled in- plants do take a while to grow, so there's not much to see.)
But honestly, picking out the seeds was the best part. Just look how many there are!
I'm extremely ambitious, so I practically dumped the whole lot of them into the shopping cart, and I would've bought them all if I'd gone alone.
Sadly, I didn't.
My dad forced me to choose three packets, max. THREE. Do you know how sad of a garden that is?! I didn't really have a choice, though, so I ended up with cilantro, zinnias, and radishes.
For the record, I despise radishes.
The only reason I bought them was to make my mom happy. She adores gardening just as much as she loves radishes, so I figured we could share the little corner in the living room.
Despite my extremely tight seatbelt, I bounced in the seat all the way home. I was probably talking a mile a minute, but thankfully, my dad didn't seem to mind. I think.

And after a few weeks of waiting, LOOK:
MY FIRST SEEDLING!
AHHHHHHHHHH
The only problem is that I'm not 100% sure what it is. I forgot to label them. But that doesn't matter in the least- I'm far too absorbed in the bliss and beauty of this beautiful young sprout. Whatever it is. Which may or may not be eaten in the future. Wow, I really ruined the mood here, didn't I?
Aside from gardening, I've managed to squeeze a little crocheting into my busy busy schedule. I've started yet another project (I have way too many work in progresses to count)- this time a gorgeous mandala. It should eventually be worked up to look like this:

Isn't it absolutely beautiful?? It'll end up being pretty large, but I'm really excited to see the finished product. Here's what I have so far:
Please forgive the lighting; I know it's horrendous, but since the sun had already set, I didn't have much to work with. It's still only a few rounds in, so I've got a long way to go (and a lot of little yarn ends to sew in), as you can see.
Unfortunately, it may be a while until the next post since I'm extremely busy with homework and tests, and that leaves little room for other things like this. But I'm really hoping you'll all stick around to see what else is in store!
Hope you have a fantastic day! :)
